So have you ever flown a helicopter in FSX? Flying a drone is sorta like that, but easier. In the US, most RC controllers are laid out in what is know as "Mode 2". Mode 2 RC transmitters have the throttle and yaw linked to the left control stick, and the pitch and roll on the right control stick. Up on the left stick will cause your drone to go up, and lowering it will cause it to go down. You want to find a sweet spot in the middle to hover. Up on the right control stick will make you go forward, and down will make you go backwards. Left on the left control stick will make your drone spin left, and right will make it spin right. Left on the right control stick will make the drone go left, and right will make it go right.

On your first flight, make sure the back of the drone is facing you. This way the controls I mentioned above are what you will experience. Be sure not to rotate the drone into a different orientation, as then if you put in a different control input will make it go in an unwanted direction. You will want to try and hold a hover on your first flight. To do this, throttle up, lower the throttle a little when it is in the air, and put small control inputs to keep it in one place.

If anything goes wrong, throttle down, and let go of the controls. Your drone is equipped with advanced gyros that will level out your drone automatically when you let go of the controls. It's light enough that if you cut the throttle from 30 feet up, if it lands on grass, it should take no damage.

One last minor thing, if the drone starts drifting in an unwanted direction, use the arrows on the bottom to make minor corrections. Those buttons are the trim buttons, and they work the same way as trim on a plane in FSX.

That is the best I can give you. Good luck with your new machine, and welcome to the wonderful world of RC flying.

I see based on your new signature that you got a drone. If you can tell by my signature, I am an experienced drone pilot. Do you want me to help you learn to fly your drone?

Jazz is a different part of Air Canada, I heard Jazz offers really nice service. But you should try WestJet, if you can.

Not good service... that's what happened. And I'm not gonna say anything about the new planes.

If you don't ask them anything they really don't care. I don't know really a lot about their service now but last time I flew with them in 2012 it was garbage.
